Yes,i think it is ethical for the media to use photoshop as they need to enhance the appearance of the person on the magazine.I think they would use photoshop is because the original photo taken by them is not perfect enough, so thats why they use photoshop to brush out all the weak areas of the whole picture and make it a very perfect picture. The other reason is why they use photoshop is because they want to sell and promote their product to the audiences reading those magazines and to attract people to the magazine with the picture printed on the magazines and to make many people want to buy their product...
I think it is ethical for the media to use photoshop as they want to put the best look of a person on the first page of magazine so they can attract people to buy their magazines.Like that they can earn a sum of money. As the magazine attract people to buy it it also help them to improve on their knowledge.
Yes! =),it is ethical for the media to use photoshop to enhance the apprearance of a person so the people would be attracted to it and buy the magazine. Not saying that the photo is not perfect enough it is just it can be inproved,if the photo is not nice enouh there will be less people buying it.Thats why they have to edit the some rough edges here and there in the pictures like the body shapes ,eye colours ,hair colours ,skin colours ,eye colour ,thickness of the arms leg ,background ,etc.Trying to make thier advertisment / magazines etc even nicer , so thier business a success.
Yes, It is ethical for the publisher of the magazine to use photoshop to enhance the appearance of a person. It will make the person posing for the magazine to look more attractive for the Skin Products, Slimming Products,Etc... In That way, their "population" of people reading that magazine will increase.
I think that it is fantastic using photoshop to total change a person. eg eyebrown become sharper.... And it attacts people to buy something as they see the magazine's model was beatiuful and they wanted to be like them. I really think that is not good to tick people like that. But photoshop canbe used in other way like changing the background as you don't like a background. And I think that that is a good idea to let as learnt about photoshop as maybe next time we'll beable to uesd it to do magazines fornt page and so on. name:Cai Xiao Hong Idex no: 2
